Hello,
I am an individual who was born in Thailand to who I assume are Thai parents (never in contact) but adopted to an Irish family and have lived overseas my whole life. I have a Thai birth certificate and a Thai passport that expired in 2013. I have never had an identity card. Am I still a Thai citizen?
If so I am hoping to renew my passport but how difficult would it be to get an identity card given that I live in Canada and have no communication with my biological family?
Since I am 23 would I have to enlist in military service?
