All the colours, all of the time

Following the Ladybird Colors launched in spring, Blancpain has introduced a new version with colourful Roman numerals and straps that can be swapped to suit the wearer’s mood and personality.

The feminine model is designed with larger-sized numerals on its upper half and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.

In colours of the rainbow, the numerals are underscored by an inner ring adorned with delicately tapering gemsetting that continues on the ring of the small seconds indicator.

Printing the numerals on the mother-of-pearl requires meticulous craftsmanship and patience.

Each shade has to be printed at least five times for greater depth. The process is even more demanding as it takes keen discernment to assess the time necessary for the ink to dry between each application.
