All of the upcoming international travel reopening dates – from Australia to United States

As Ireland’s major easing in restrictions approaches, so too will the return of international travels to some more holiday hotspots loved by Irish passengers.

As Australia plans to reopen its borders for the first time in 18 months, thousands of Irish families will be organising their trips to visit their loved ones and new members of the family.

As well as down under, governments in the likes of Thailand, Indonesia, and the United States are also putting systems in place to allow for the return of Irish passengers this side of Christmas.

So here is everything we know about each destination, and when the proposed dates for a return are expected:

Australia

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison recently confirmed that they will begin reopening the borders for travel ‘within weeks’.
