All-Member Thailand 7-11

Hi all, I cannot comment on the existing post as it has been archived. However it has been asked in this group whether foreigners can apply for all-member.

7-11 has now updated their services to allow foreigners to apply for all-member. However, the steps are lengthy and I will share them here.

1. To begin the process, you must make a phone call to the member service line, which can be found on the 7-11 Thai website.
2. You must speak to an agent, although it seems they do have some English speaking agents, there is no separate line for English speakers. So it would be best to speak in Thai to them like I did, or ask a friend to assist you.
3. Please note: when first calling it will sometimes have an automated robot to ask you for further info to direct your call. It will tell you foreigners cannot be all members in Thai. However, do not let this discourage you as this as not the case.
4. After speaking to the agent, you must provide them with your name, email and phone number. Within the next few days they will reach out to you by phone to confirm these details, and then send an email.
5. The email that comes to you will require you to reply with a picture of your passport and an electronically signed (Easiest) consent form, terms and conditions agreement, and another form, your user ID from the 7-11 app and some other basic details.
6. From this step you will have to wait for them to process the documents. They will call you once again, send an OTP to your registered phone number and request you to recite it to them. (This call will come within 3 days of them receiving and processing your documents and reply) (It happened for me 1 day after the documents were processed)
7. After this, they will process your membership within 7 days (it happened in 1 day for me).

The total process since contacting the basic question email address they have, to initially reaching out to them, plus receiving email issues, (iCloud didn’t get their email, I would recommend another service like gmail). took me about 1.5 months. However if you contact them directly it could happen within 1,2,3 weeks. I am not sure.

Something to note as a foreign all-member, you are ineligible to connect your true money wallet to the 7-11 app like Thais can. I think this is some red tape over monetary laws, not sure. However, you can key in your phone number at the branch when making your purchase, and use true money separately or however you pay.

The process was lengthy and tedious because of my own issues with my email. However, if you want to be an all member at 7-11, you are now able to (as of 2 months ago according to the agent) and I am writing this post so you know the process as it has been previously asked about on this group.
