Airport – Lines, Time

Bored at airport and have seen some posts about this recently so giving my PSA for today live from Suvarnabhumi. I am departing for Japan today at 10:35. Line at immigration and security was the shortest I have seen in years (COVID period excepted).

I was reminded of traveling during the protests back in 2010. Security, no line. Immigration, no line. I literally walked right up to the immigration officer and handed them my passport. When I went to Bali in mid Feb the immigration line was over 1 hour wait. Guess we are officially in low season again.

That being said, wait times can be highly variable so please don’t cut it too close thinking things will be like it was for me today. It was a pleasant surprise.
