Air Quality Terrible

I woke up with my lungs hurting today and that only happens with bad air. I thought to myself, that can NOT be the reason. It’s not burning season yet. Anybody know the cause of the bad air this week?

Edit: All the caveman responses are unnecessary. We can discuss without being rude. I appreciate the people who actually answered based on some recorded knowledge.. We all know there is bad air in the country but all my years living here it has gotten worse, faster.
