Thailand striker Adisak Kraisorn is ready to prove himself in next month’s World Cup qualifiers in the absence of Teerasil Dangda, who has pulled out of the squad due to injury.
Adisak is among the first group of about 20 players who reported to the training camp on Monday ahead of the War Elephants’ three remaining games in Group G of Asia’s second qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup.
The other players will join them on May 10.
“I am very happy every time when I am part of the national team,” Adisak said yesterday.
“I always want to prove myself and help the team as much as I can. This is the first time that we are training together since the Covid-19 pandemic began [last year].
“It’s a pity that Teerasil had to withdraw from the team due to many factors including injury.
“I am ready to prove myself if I get an opportunity to play.”
