In our daily lives, we may come across situations where we need to decide whether to do something or just forget about it. However, if we follow our hunch, our small action might just lead to a big impact on someone or our society.

Last week, Amkha Yostasaen, 45, a cashier at S&P bakery in Muang Thong Thani, entered the media spotlight because her inkling had saved an elderly woman’s life.

The woman was Somsri Sakulthongbai, 85, who lives by herself in Muang Thong Thani. She is a regular customer who phones the outlet every day for delivery and as the cashier, Amkha took her orders and sometimes even delivered the food to the old lady’s house.

However, on Nov 5, Somsri did not call to make an order. At first, Amkha thought the customer may have ordered from another store so Amkha remained quiet even though she was worried about Somsri. A few days…
