A. Lange & Söhne’s celebrates its roots through the festive campaign featuring the 1815 Annual Calendar and the Lange 1.

“During the holiday season, many people take the time to reflect and ask themselves, what are my origins and where am I heading? Our aspiration is to never stand still. But to proceed in the right direction, it is sometimes necessary to briefly pause and consider,” said CEO Wilhelm Schmid.

The name of the first model pays tribute to founder Ferdinand Adolph Lange, who was born in 1815. At the age of 30, he set up a workshop in Glashütte, Saxony, and established precision horology in Germany.

The 1815 Annual Calendar features an argenté-coloured dial with an axially symmetric configuration of three auxiliary dials, while hands make the displays for the date, day of the week and month easy to read.
