Kriangkrai Chaipiset, chief of the Doi Inthanon National Park, said the lowest temperature on Sunday morning was measured at the front of the Kew Mae Pan nature trail.

Kriangkrai said park officials were deployed to watch over tourists on Doi Inthanon around the clock on New Year’s Eve. The park has installed 15 security cameras for surveillance.
