New BG Pathum United coach Thongchai Sukkoki aims to derail Buriram United’s treble bid when they meet in the League Cup final today.

The match at Muang Thong United’s Thunder Dome kicks off at 6pm. The winners will get five million baht and the runners-up one million baht.

Thongchai was surprisingly appointed Pathum coach last week after he guided Nakhon Pathom United to Thai League 1 as the Thai League 2 champions recently.

The 49-year-old began his stint with the Rabbits in their win over Chonburi in the final game of the Thai League 1 season…
