Phetdarin Somrat won the second stage of the Women’s Tour of Thailand 2022 in Mukdahan yesterday.
The Thailand Women’s Cycling Team rider made a 30km solo escape and crossed the finish line in 3:29.36 hours to win the 134.2km stage.
Hannah Seeliger of Australia’s Cycling Development Foundation was second while Siti Nur Adibah Akman Mohd Faud of the Malaysian national team came third.
Another Thai cyclist Kamonrada Khaoplot of the Thai national team was fourth, followed by Vietnam’s Bui Thi Quynh.
Phetdarin also led the overall standings with a total time of 5:41.32 hours.
