Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn and Busanan Ongbamrungphan advanced to the last 16 round of the US$1 million All England Open Championships in Birmingham on Wednesday.
Kunlavut, who claimed his first World Tour title in Germany on Sunday, defeated HS Prannoy of India 21-15, 24-22 in the men’s singles event at Utilita Arena.
The 19-year-old rising star fended off a game point in the second to seal his place in the last 16 against Jonatan Christie.
