Love Island’s Anna McEvoy and boyfriend test positive to COVID-19 on Thailand holiday

Love Island Australia‘s Anna McEvoy and her boyfriend Michael Staples have tested positive to COVID-19 while holidaying in Thailand.

McEvoy, 29, initially took to her Instagram Story yesterday to reveal their getaway had become one led by “panic and confusion” as she tested positive to the virus.

Michael — who did test positive at first only to have authorities email him saying he was actually negative, meaning he would be subject to different isolation rules to McEvoy — at that time was negative. This morning, however, he tested positive on a rapid antigen test.

“Michael is currently having a meltdown,” an emotional McEvoy told her followers yesterday. “He has been on the phone all day trying to get answers about his results.”
