9,172 new Covid cases, 21 more deaths

The country registered 21 more Covid-19 fatalities and 9,172 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Thursday morning.

This compared with the 22 coronavirus-related fatalities and 8,587 new cases reported on Wednesday morning.

There were 8,950 local cases and 222 imported ones.

On Wednesday, 7,832 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
