6 airlines agree to waive rescheduling fees for travelers under gov’t rebate program

Travelers under the domestic travel subsidy program may ask for changes in their flight bookings.

With more than 2,400 people diagnosed with COVID-19 amid a fresh outbreak of the disease, which has spread to 47 provinces including the capital, six airlines say they are allowing travellers to re-route destinations, get refunds in the form of airline credit, or reschedule flights for free for those who travel under the government’s domestic travel subsidy program, COVID-19 task force spokesman Taweesilp Wisanuyothin said today. 

The six airlines are Thai Smile, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Vietjet Air, Thai Lion air, and Thai AirAsia. Further terms and conditions will be announced by each airline.
