4 bodies with gunshot wounds found in southern Thailand

Residents in the southern province of Narathiwas found the lifeless bodies of three people with gunshot wounds in a sedan truck submerged in the Juerae Lake yesterday. This morning, another dead body was found near the scene. The authorities have reason to believe that the two incidents are interconnected.

Buketa Police Station received distressing reports from residents who had discovered a sunken car in Juerae Lake, Wang district of Narathiwas, at 4.20pm yesterday. Officers arrived at the scene to find a blue Toyota Yaris sedan with three dead individuals confined to the boot of the vehicle. In the absence of any missing person’s report matching the victims, the authorities decided to conduct an autopsy of the bodies, which were subsequently transferred to the Song Khla Nakarin facility.
