3 weeks solo trip in Thailand, where shall I go?

Hey everyone, I’m going to Thailand on a solo trip, it’s my first time in Asia, I don’t drink alcohol so I’m not interested in nightlife, however I do smoke and would love to find some chill spots with lots to see!

So far, I plan on staying in Bangkok for a few days, and then going to chiang mai! I am alone (Male 25) and will have camera equipment & gopro etc.

The aim is to see as much as possible, but also have time to relax and take it all in – get some great photos and videos, meet people and just have a good time (would prefer to avoid tourist traps and areas that are mainly for nightlife & drinking)

Edit: I know it’ll be hot, but I love hiking and views! I’d love to see temples, great views, beach would be nice but I’m happy to stay in land also. I walk a lot at home, but the weather is obviously much cooler here and I will have a large backpack!
