The country registered 69 more Covid-19 fatalities and 22,130 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Monday morning.
This compared with the 66 coronavirus-related fatalities and 23,584 new cases reported on Sunday morning.
There were 22,103 local cases and 27 imported ones.
On Sunday, 23,508 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus while 225,889 others were at hospitals (down from 227,336 on the previous day).
Since the pandemic started in early 2020, there have been 3,206,955 Covid-19 cases, including 983,520 this year, with 2,957,288 complete recoveries to date.
