2-metre tapeworm found in Thai man who eats raw meat 

A Thai man posted a video on his social media TikTok account to warn people to avoid eating raw meat after a two-metre tapeworm was found in his body.

Amarit Chuetamuen posted videos on his TikTok account, @tex2499, to share his deworming experience. In the first video, Amarit told his followers that his anus had become itchy and then felt something slipping out of his bottom.

He thought it was his intestine at first but found that it was moving. Then, a 10-centimetre parasite worm slipped out of his back end. The cause of parasites like this is believed to be consuming raw beef.

Amarit said that raw beef is his favourite dish. He ate raw beef several times a month for two to three years.

The meat-lover posted a follow-up video of a 2 metre long tapeworm that came out of his body which shocked Thai netizens and went viral.
