National Curry Week is upon us and organisers are keen to bring back some spice to life after a gloomy pandemic year and are urging “for one week only, let’s talk about curry instead of coronavirus”.
The annual celebration of all things curry returns – for the 23rd time – from Monday, October 4 until Sunday, October 10 which allows plenty time for everyone to indulge in a favourite comfort food dish or several.
The event encourages people to get out and about dining at local curry houses, celebrating the cuisine and giving the industry a welcome post-lockdown boost, although it also serves up a host of ideas for cooking curry at home with an offical recipe book available to delve into on the National Curry Week website.
