A Thai woman was among those to die in the massive earthquake in Turkey as the death toll crested 12,000.
The Thai Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, has confirmed that a 28-year-old Thai woman was found dead in the rubble in the port city of Iskenderun. The woman was identified as Chamaiporn Homsantia of Chaiyaphum province.
The Thai embassy has notified Chamaiporn’s family and is working with Turkish authorities to bring her body to Thailand.
