Zoom Around the World! Our Weekly Online Worldwide Happy Hour!

Hi Everyone,

How is everyone holding up through the pandemic? As we begin 2021, it’s been 10 months since we have been under restrictions, whether ‘stay at home’ or being confined to our regional areas – unable to travel and enjoy life as we once remember.

In April 2020, we started our weekly, Zoom chat sessions (Worldwide Happy Hours) as a way for our ’self isolators’ to meet and talk with people as we waited for normal life to resume. We have combined with numerous social groups, and it’s been great to ‘travel’ around the world and meet new people through our weekly Zoom chats.

Since we started 10 months ago, we have met people from all over the globe including: Bangkok Thailand, Southeast Asia, India, Australia, Russia, Greece, Germany, Great Britain, France, Canada, Southern California, Seattle and the Northwest US, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Atlanta, Florida and many other places. We even had people from Iceland join us (that was a great story.)

We meet LIVE around the world:

* Thursday night at 7pm (California time) – 10pm (NY East Coast Time)
* Friday morning 10:00am (Bangkok time)

To join in, you need to RSVP to this event, then you’ll be able to see the Zoom link for this week’s event. The session will be like an online cocktail party. Just say ‘hello,’ where you’re from, what you do – and join in the conversation.

We just ask that everyone is respectful, giving others a chance to talk (ya know, like a real party). It’s BYOB, shirts required, pants optional (as long as you don’t stand up!)

Pets are welcome, too :)
