Trivium coming in March to sink Bangkok in heavy metal

Trivium, one of the most technically impressive and influential metal bands, will shred mad riffs and screaming growls in Bangkok next year.

The four-member group, often referred as one of the big four in the new wave of American heavy metal, will perform March 15 at CentralwOrld’s Central Live House venue.

While described as a heavy metal band, the group has explored multiple subgenres of metal throughout the years with each album since their forming in 1999, including metalcore, thrash metal, death metal, and power metal.

Common song elements feature double bass drumming, heavy breakdowns, and highly complex guitar riffs. Their lyrics are drawn from various influences from singer Matt Heafy’s struggles with anxiety and thoughts of suicide to famous killings and fantasy literature.
