Toons from Down Under: Bangkok gallery to show 30+ Aussie cartoonists

Arts and happenings are returning to the city, giving events writers something to cover again. 

And with everything so dire for so long, we’re overdue for some humor. And who better to help us laugh than the Australians?

Cartoons and comic strips from more than 30 Australian artists will come together for nearly two weeks at Australian Comics – Promoting Culture through Visual Storytelling at a public downtown gallery. 

The 33 artists are a mix of prolific illustrators and cartoonists as well as emerging talents. Fans of graphic novels and cartoons may recognize the work of veteran cartoonists Bruce Mutard, manga-style artist Queenie Chan, and Zen Pencils’ blog artist Gavin Aung Than.
