Thailand suspends Test & Go scheme

Citing concerns over the Omicron variant, Thai authorities have announced the temporary suspension of the Test & Go scheme. The changes came into effect from 22 December 2021 and will be in place until at least 4 January 2022 when the situation is due to be reviewed.

• If you have already been approved for a Thailand Pass, you can still enter Thailand as scheduled.
• If you have registered for Thailand Pass, but not yet received it, you should wait for it to be considered/approved. Once approved, you can enter Thailand under the scheme you registered. 
• You can still apply for a Thailand Pass, but with Test & Go temporarily suspended, you can only enter via: 
  Phuket Sandbox
  Minimum 7-night stay in Phuket at SHA Extra Plus hotel or
  Hotel quarantine
  Minimum 7-night stay at approved SHA Plus hotel in Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket if fully vaccinated or 10 days if not fully vaccinated.
