B200m budget set aside for election

Social Security Fund (SSF) members can for the first time elect new Social Security Board members in December, says permanent secretary for labour, Boonchob Suthamanuswong.
He said the Labour Ministry will set aside at least 200 million baht for the election and talk to the Election Committee and the Interior Ministry regarding the election of 14 members SSF members nationwide.
The Social Security Office (SSO), which runs the SSF, is now training its officials to prepare for the election, he said.
