September vacation in patong?

Hey guys, I booked 2 weeks Patong in September, 4th-18th.
I just red now a week after booking that it’s monsoon time then :/
At the Moment I feel like I spent my money for rain.

How long does it usually rain a day?
Is it raining so heavy that I’m forced to stay at hotel?

I want to book some daytrips, like phiphi Islands, snorkeling etc, will it rain or be bad weather there too?

Do you have some recommendations where to book daytrips? -( not trekking, rather islands, snorkeling, diving)

Is it even possible to pick me up from the hotel if its raining like I imagine the monsoon rain?

I don’t have a drivers license, is there a high chance to get stopped by police if I rent a bike? I called some shops in patong they don’t need a drivers licence.

Should I bring copies of my passport or do they copy in renting stores?

Should I change euro-baht at the airport or are there better options? Or can I pay in euro in patong?
