Semi Retirement Life Questions – Hua Hin or Koh Samui

My family and I wants to move to Thailand by next year. We have a pretty good income and planning to buy a house in Thailand but we are not sure which one or those 2 places is suitable for us.

We actually quite simple in term of lifestyle and don't go out to party or drinking that often. We do enjoy peace, nice foods and sport.

Can anyone tell me about what pros and cons of these places are?
