Sandy is champion again

Thai racer Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik secured his second consecutive overall championship in the GT3 class of the Thailand Super Series 2020 at the weekend.

As the reigning champion, Sandy managed to get back-to-back titles in GT3, the Thailand Super Series’ premier class, driving his Audi R8 GT3 Evo for B-Quik Absolute Racing, who secured the teams’ title.

Together with his teammate Daniel Bilski of Australia, the pair drove an outstanding race on Sunday to secure the championship in dramatic fashion at Chang International Circuit in Buri Ram.

Going into the weekend, Sandy was third in the overall standings, with a sizeable deficit to deal with against the championship leaders.
