Ride BTS and BRT free with mom this Friday

Take mom on a free trip through Bangkok by Skytrain or bus on Mother’s Day this Friday.

In celebration of the Queen Mother’s birthday, anyone can ride the two transit systems for free if they bring their mommy.

All BTS and BRT routes are applicable, including the newly opened Gold Line between BTS Silom and the IconSiam shopping mall.

There is one caveat, however. Both mother and child are required to get off at the same station, so it won’t work to send mom off to IconSiam while you frolic with friends in Nana.

Children under 90 centimeters tall can also ride free. Commuters can request free tickets at any station 6am to midnight.
