Rescue volunteers manage to resuscitate motorcyclist who collided with BRT bus

Rescue volunteers were able to revive a critically injured motorist who collided with a bus around Rama III Road on Thursday morning. 

The unidentified man was driving in the bus lane when his motorcycle collided with a Bangkok BRT vehicle by the Rama III Bridge Station at around 8:38am. Volunteers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, a charity that provides emergency ambulance and rescue services, managed to resuscitate him with CPR before transporting him to nearby CharoenKrung Pracharak Hospital.

The accident caused a traffic jam that lasted around an hour at the Ratchada-Talat Phlu intersection. Cars coming from Suksawat Road were stuck at the Rama II intersection while cars from Rat Burana Road were trapped on the bridge across from the Bang Pa Kaeo canal.
