If ever there was an orchestral concert in Bangkok which proved how important it is to occasionally undertake something a little bit different, then that was the successful event presented by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation in the Thailand Cultural Centre recently.
The Hollywood theme is nothing new to this orchestra, but this latest extravaganza — supported by B.Grimm and titled “A Night In Hollywood” — was certainly novel in design. The RBSO hasn’t experienced anything like this formula before, and the delighted audience fully realised this, responding with many ovations.
