Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha recommended the controversial Israeli television series, Fauda, at the meeting of the Defence Council on Wednesday.
Gen Prayut presided over the meeting as the Defence Ministry head and remained silent most of the time, despite his usual active participation, sources said.
During the meeting, Gen Prayut surprised many as he did not mention political affairs or address rumours that he would move to dissolve the House of Representatives, reports said.
Some believed that the Defence Council meeting, one of the last events before Gen Prayut’s prime ministerial term ends, would have been a good opportunity for him to leave his best wishes to the chiefs of the armed…
