Police name two more suspects in Ubon gang gunfight

Police were awaiting court warrants today for two more suspects in a firefight that erupted between rival gangs in a parking lot in northeastern Thailand, leaving three dead.

Provincial police announced they were seeking one warrant for Nikorn Thongpan, 31, for attempted murder and possession of an unicensed firearm in Wednesday night’s gang battle that broke out after an attempt to settle a beef turned violent in Ubon Ratchathani province. The other warrant names Worawit Rodpai, a 41-year-old security guard at a nearby hip-hop club who was a member of the other faction.
