Police Inspect Pattaya Walking Street for a Tourist Safety Campaign

Police inspected Pattaya Walking Street to ensure safety and a crime free campaign in the city.

In total, 234 officers from Pattaya City, the Banglamung District Public Heath Office, Pattaya Tourist Police, Immigration Office, and the Chonburi Provincial Employment Office joined in the inspection last night (February 17th).

The Chonburi Provincial Police Deputy Commander Colonel Patikorn Sornchai told the Pattaya News:

“Pattaya is one of the most important economic cities in Thailand which is internationally well-known. There are many beautiful tourism places, especially beaches. Millions of tourists have visited Pattaya every year (except during the pandemic) which has generated significant revenue for the country.”

“To make sure of tourist’s safety and confidence, we have conducted a crime free campaign (No minors-No drugs-No weapons-No human trafficking –Total safety) in entertainment venues,” Colonel Patikorn added.

Meanwhile, an unidentified foreign man fell down on Walking Street during the police patrol . He had a wound on his knee. Colonel Patikorn saw the incident and helped to provide first aid to the foreigner which drew significant praise on social media.
