In the remote regions of Thailand many people live without access to even the most basic healthcare. Often, they live many miles away from the nearest hospital/health centre, access to which is logistically troublesome.

In Thailand there is no welfare support for the unemployed under the age of 60. Many Thais have no secure employment. Privation in Thailand is rife, and, for many, it is a way of life.

The objective of Doc Martyn’s Remote Rescue Thailand is to support the vulnerable people who live in these remote areas and to alleviate their privation. The Remote Rescue scheme provides mobile medical assistance for those in remote areas. Our mission is to bring essential healthcare services to the underserved and disadvantaged communities in these rural remote areas.
