Banglamung, Chonburi – February 8th, 2026 – Chonburi Governor Narit Niramaiwong visited polling stations in Banglamung district this afternoon to observe the ongoing general election for Members of Parliament (MPs) and the concurrent constitutional referendum, expressing optimism about high public participation despite emerging rain in the afternoon in some areas.

At 3:30 p.m., Governor Narit, accompanied by Deputy Governor Isra Charoenchasri, Provincial Clerk Khwanruean Srichan, Provincial Public Relations Officer Yaowalak Kreuakhamkhao, and Bang Lamung District Chief Anusak Piriyamorn, inspected operations at Ban Phu Thai School.

At polling unit 8, out of 779 eligible voters, more than 400 had already cast their ballots. At unit 9, with 880 eligible voters, approximately 600 had voted by that time.

Following the site visit, Governor Narit stated that his team, including the deputy governor, provincial clerk, provincial election director, and public relations officials, had been conducting inspections and offering encouragement to election staff across multiple districts, including Phan Thong, Ko Chan, Bo Thong, Nong Yai, and Sri Racha.
