Pattaya gets ready for a spooky Halloween weekend that’s sure to attract tourists

For the first time in three years, Pattaya will celebrate a normal Halloween, traditionally one of the busiest party nights of the year in the tourism-reliant city.

However, due to COVID-19 restrictions and border closures the past several years Halloween was a muted affair. Indeed, last year bars and nightlife venues were mandated shut and alcohol banned at restaurants. In 2020, venues were open but strict zero covid border closures limited foreign tourism to almost zero.
