BG Pathum United have parted ways with coach Makoto Teguramori after the club lost to Bangkok United in Thai League 1 on Sunday night.
The Rabbits said yesterday the Japanese coach had failed to meet the club’s target.
“BG Pathum United appreciate Makoto Teguramori’s hard work and dedication throughout his tenure with the club and would like to wish him all the best in the future,” the club said in a statement.
Assistant coach Mitsuo Kato, also of Japan, will fill in as the club’s interim boss, the team said.
Teguramori arrived as the Rabbits’ coach in January and led the club to the runner-up finish in the 2021-22 Thai League 1 season.
