New vegan festival takes root at On Nut green space next month

Plant-based alternatives are on the rise in Bangkok and a new festival celebrating all things meatless is joining the scene next month. 

Come October 17 and 18, the 24,000sqm lush green haven in the On Nut area will open to foodies with a plant-based and vegan bent to enjoy everything from vegan burgers to dairy-free cupcakes and plant-based noodles. Vegan-curious folks are also welcome to explore this burgeoning trend at the Root the Future Plant-Based & Sustainability Festival

Teased to be “Asia’s biggest plant-based and sustainability festival,” the event runs for two days next month, from 2pm to 9pm on each day, and will bring together more than 60 vendors selling a variety of plant-based food, vegan offerings, organic products and more (including vegan barbecue!).
