Muangthai ready to rumble

Like many athletes, Muangthai PK Saenchai took a brief hiatus from competing at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now, the Thai star is set to step back into the circle at One: Eersel vs Sadikovic on April 22 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium to face England’s Liam Harrison in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout, and he feels he’s returning at the perfect time.

“As the pandemic hit the sports business hard two years ago, Muay Thai was forced to stop. All activities were suspended. I had no fights at all. So, I decided to make a pause in my career and returned to my hometown, [where] I had been helping my family business,” Muangthai said.
