Loose Women’s Carol McGiffin opens up on body confidence and living with one breast

Carol McGiffin has opened up about her body confidence and living with just one breast after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The Loose Women panelist, 63, has been speaking as part of the ITV Daytime shows award winning Body Stories having had one breast removed while battling the disease.

The campaign is designed to celebrate body diversity and highlight the importance of representation. It comes after 75 percent of viewers admit they avoid looking in the mirror because of how it makes them feel about their body.

Some of the UK’s most recognisable female faces and Loose Women panelists including Carol, Dame Kelly Holmes, Gloria Hunniford OBE, Judi Love, Katie Piper OBE and Sophie Morgan will take part in an inspiring Body Stories photo shoot for the first time, as well as candidly share their own body stories.
