‘I Am Greta’ to headline online climate film fest next week

A look at the life of a teen leader in the global fight against climate change will lead a pack of shorts raising awareness on the issue at a free online film event kicking off next week.

The critically acclaimed I Am Greta will screen alongside a selection of short films for one week this month as a part of the Changing Climate, Changing Lives Film Festival.

Directed by Nathan Grossman, the 2020 documentary opens well before Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg became an international cause celebre and follows her global crusade to get people to listen to the slow-motion disaster unfolding.

The movie will show in English or Swedish with Thai subtitles. To see it, register online in advance. The film will be available Aug. 19-25.
