HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol

There are concerns in Thailand for the health of the King’s daughter, HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol. In an announcement at around 4pm local time on 15 December, the Palace announced that the princess “fell unconscious due to a heart condition”. The 44-year-old princess collapsed while outside with her dog on a trip to Khao Yai in north-east Thailand. Channel News Asia (CNA) report that the King’s daughter had been training her dog in the north-east province of Nakhon Ratchasima in preparation for the Thailand Working Dog Championship by Royal Thai Army 2022 event.

CNA also report that Princess Bajrakitiyabha received medical treatment at Pak Chong Nana Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima before being transferred by helicopter to Chulalongkorn Hospital in Bangkok.
