House work when married

“The term “work” in Thai law is defined very broadly, covering both physical and mental activities, whether or not for wages or other form of compensation. Even volunteer or charity work requires a work permit in Thailand.”
My fiancee family owns a hotel, it’s part of their house although still considered legaly as separate building.
She claims that it’s fine to work at home, so basically helping in washing stuff, do some customer service etc. She also says that once a year after high season the family splits the profit and I would also be given some money. As this is done between family and is “giving the money” then it’s not considered as pay/income.
Is any of this legal/ real? Wouldn’t putting this money into my account make the authorities highly suspicious about the source of the money?
