Hotel/accom near River City BKK, 2k-ish budget

Will be needing lodgings for a week-10 days, solo, have an event in the area.

Reccomendations pls?

I’ve seen nice digs in China Town, but would prefer walking distance, but not necessary.

A bit of space would be nice too I guess. (ie not a shoebox).
