Hero Series expected to net new fans

Muay Thai fighters pose at a press conference this week.

The Sports Authority of Thailand, in conjunction with the Tourism and Sports Ministry, will stage a night of elite Muay Thai action at Bangkok’s World Siam Stadium next month, organisers said.

On Nov 7, a host of stars in the country’s traditional martial art will showcase their fighting skills to domestic and international audiences.

A press conference was held this week to promote the inaugural SAT Hero Series Muaythai event aiming to promote the sport to the masses.

The programme will feature Kaonar PK Saenchai taking on Superbon Tded99 in the headline contest.

This will be the third encounter between the two, with Kaonar prevailing on both occasions.
