Goldie to step into ‘Subjective’ musical territory at Sukhumvit 31 venue

Fifteen years after first performing in Thailand, British musician expat Goldie will celebrate large next month by bringing his new musical identity to a dance hall in Soi Sukhumvit 31. 

For three hours Goldie will step out of his drum ‘n bass comfort zone and delve into genres including hymn, ambient jazz and classical-inflected electronica as Subjective. It’s a collaboration with sound engineer James Davidson, half of drum ‘n bass duo Ulterior Motive. 

The show will be Subjective’s first performance in Asia and comes nearly two years after it released its debut album Act One: Music For Inanimate Objects. Swedish house and techno DJ The Outsider will open at the November event.
