A Glasgow travel vlogger has come up with a novel way to stave off the disappointment of being unable to visit different places across the globe amid the ongoing covid pandemic – by recreating his favourite airplane meals at home here in the city.
Self-confessed ‘Aviation Geek’ and ‘avid planefood enthusiast’ Nik runs SOPLANE, an account which details his ‘cheeky airline trip reports’ from Glasgow to the world with a focus on looking at the lighter side of travel, especially when things go wrong.
As well as in-depth plane food reviews, Nik’s videos also show visits to airline lounges, reviews of plane seats, amenities and inflight entertainment – including the testing of plane toilets and their flushes.
